Fake Plastic Instruments: RockBand DLC Podcast
Episode 6 - Fake Plastic Starship
Hey, we're back!
Uh, there's a lot of mic breathing that I couldn't edit out because of the way recorded. Sorry. Hopefully you'll enjoy it anyway, the format is a bit different now. :)
Episode 5 - Crooked Hammerheads Times Seven
Uggggggggggh.
Sorry to everyone who wrote in. I'm kicking myself that I lost all of the emails. Rest assured, this is a one time mistake.
Being sick sucks. Well, the episode is done, and hopefully it's enjoyable for you guys. I'm going to go pass out now.
Enjoy!
Episode 4 - Girls Who Watch MTV2
This episode was...interesting.
We started off earlier than we normally do (by several hours), and it affected me a bit, seemingly Ryan as well. There may be a few facts that are wrong here and there, but our information should be mostly solid.
Sorry for the light preview section, we really had no information on the MTV2 bands, and by the time we got to Maximo Park research, we were running very late.
Uh, I like Mountain Dew.
Name butchery will never stop. Sorry about that.
Hopefully you enjoy it. The filesize is still larger than it needs to be, but I know why now! That'll (HOPEFULLY) be fixed next week.
Episode 3 - Indestructible Margaritas
I mention it in the podcast itself, but thanks for all of the feedback and support, guys. We got a lot more downloads for episode 2 than we expected, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit nervous to make sure that people to continue to like this thing.
A few notes on this episode...
Ryan had some mic issues yet again this week, despite the fact that we (I) thought we had it figured out. Hopefully we can either fix it, or get Ryan a new mic (probably the latter).
Volume levels might be a bit off, I think. It sounded fine with headphones on, but not so much on my desk speakers, sorry about that.
Sorry about the name butchery. We know how to talk, really.
Also, I'll mention one more time that if you want to get in touch with us, you can PM me on SH, or email me at Alakaiser (located at) scorehero (period) com. Email is ideal because it's easier for me to sort through.
Enjoy!
Episode 2 - Crashing into DLC
This week, Tom and Ryan stick to the DLC by reviewing the European hits (poorly), previewing the Cars self-titled album for the week of 5/27, and continue to butcher foreign languages. On top of that, Ryan shows off his vocal skills!
Episode 1 - European Extravanganza
In this inaugural episode of Fake Plastic Instruments, Tom welcomes new host Ryan to the fray, discusses going-ons in the community, gives highlights on the DLC from the week of 5/13, previews the European extravaganza for the week of 5/20, and butchers the German language!
